Due to which Tata Motors suffered a lot. After this, Ratan Tata had to face a lot of criticism regarding his decision. Then some close people did, because of Indica. To make up for the loss, he suggested selling his car business to another company.

He, along with his partners, took the proposal to sell it to the Ford Company. Ratan Tata's meeting with the company lasted for 3 hours. Then Bill Fort, chairman of Ford Company, had a rude behavior with Ratan Tata.

In small talk, Bill Fort told Ratan Tata that if you did not know how to make a car. So why did you invest so much money in this business? We are doing you a favor by buying this company.
